What a hassle.

It could have been so much worse. We could have been in the Superdome.

The San Diego Police Department have yet to return my calls about me having phone numbers that the thief (or the person who bought the phone) used. My folks, who live near San Diego whereas I do not, picked up my car from the impound ($200 towing and impound fee for having my car stolen... grrrrr), and found a note inside from the police saying to bring the car in to the Lemon Grove police station to be dusted for finger prints. Which they did, but were turned away because they "Don't do that. You can bring it back tomorrow when a detective is in, though."

Yeah. Right.

Hey, if you ever need a car in San Diego, be sure to steal in on a weekend, because no one will try to find you until business hours on Monday.... two weeks later.

They only found my car because it was abandoned in a casino parking lot. It still had my original plates.

Sheesh.

Oh well, at least I have my car.
